About Jeff Schadt

Dear Parents,

After many years working with youth through Campus Crusade, I know how scary it can be for our kids these days.  So many choices, so much pressure, and potential to get into trouble.  Why don’t our kids want to listen to us so they can avoid problems?

What would you say if I told you your kids (yes, those kids with eyes and hands surgically glued to their smart phones) are actually hungry for a deeper relationship, and that they’d jump at the opportunity if they knew you would, too?

Well, whether they act that way or not, it’s true. And I know how to help.

Based on extensive research through the Youth Transition Network, we’ve developed Biblical-based solutions for you and your teens geared towards developing strong, healthy relationships so they will actually WANT to listen to you, and will take advice when facing difficult and potentially faith-threatening choices. Its an approach that can help you rekindle relationship and influence in your child’s life, even after they leave home. Your kids don’t have to cross thin ice alone!

When Jeff Schadt realized the tragic number of Christian youth who enter adulthood separated from the church, he felt compelled to take action.

A few of his efforts have been the creation of the Youth Transition Network, and authoring the acclaimed book Going, Going, Gone!  Now serving as Executive Director of the Youth Transition Network, Jeff devotes his life to making sure teens have a chance as they transition into adulthood.

Jeff was born in Evanston, IL, and grew up in Arizona and Connecticut.  After obtaining his B.S.B.C. in marketing from Northern Arizona University, he pursued his Masters degree in Biblical Leadership at Phoenix Seminary. He and his wife Deedee spent four years working as staff for Campus Crusade for Christ, and have plentiful experience working with youth.

Outside of  ministry work, Jeff gained extensive corporate experience from working in Sales & Marketing for TimeSystems, Franklin Covey, Management Development, Inc., and later served seven years as President and CEO of AppointmentZone, Inc.

Jeff currently resides with his wife and 4 children in Durango, CO.
